Opportunities for students

Leading Ukrainian and foreign academics work at the Faculty; training takes place in well-equipped classrooms. Students and PhD students can benefit from using up-to-date scientific laboratories, computer classes, and Library and Information Center of Sumy State University. All students are provided with places in dormitories and have the opportunity to use various objects of sports infrastructure for their comprehensive and full-fledged development. Faculty of Technical Systems and Energy-Efficient Technologies actively contributes to the internationalization of the educational process. All our students have opportunities for getting practical experience, internships, and participation in academic mobility programs in the best educational institutions in Europe and North America.

Staff and ranking positions

The academic staff of the Faculty counts 75 persons, who work on grant projects, participate and win different competitions. 100% of the teachers have obtained scientific degrees and academic titles; among them are 17 Doctors of Sciences and professors.

The Faculty takes top positions in leading national and international ratings. In particular, in the field "Engineering", it enters the TOP 301-400 higher education institutions worldwide according to The World University Ranking, being alongside in 1st place among the higher education institutions in Ukraine.
