Study

The Faculty forms the largest subdivision of the university. It counts over 1,700 full-time students and about 150 PhD students. Training is conducted by highly qualified teachers with significant pedagogic and research experience. Teaching methods are being constantly improved to respond to the principles of student-centered and inclusive learning at most. Course materials are being regularly updated to meet the present-day needs of learners. The educational programs are accredited by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance at A and B levels.

Employment

Our graduates are in stable demand in the high-tech industry, public sector, and research institutions. The Faculty formally cooperates with dozens of IT companies that have opened their training centers at our university. The vast majority of students get their first job offer before graduation.


Opportunities for students

The Faculty's teachers support distance learning, grant remote access to learning materials, and follow a case-by-case approach. The Faculty of Electronics and Information Technologies boasts the biggest base of partnering enterprises and companies where students can undergo practical training. Among them are both local and international companies specializing in IT, engineering, energy, automation, etc. Students get engaged in science and have a chance to find themselves in academia. The Faculty has established a system of student communication and support. 


Staff 

About 120 teachers, among whom are one corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 20 professors and Doctors of Sciences, and over 80 associate professors and Candidates of Sciences (PhD), help students to master the knowledge in the chosen field and encourage students' research work addressing relevant topics.


Our achievements

The Faculty staff and individual teachers regularly win various internal and national competitions. In the field "Physical Science", the Faculty enters the TOP 300-400 higher education institutions worldwide according to The Times Higher Education World University Rankings. The scientists of the Faculty carry out research projects financed in the amount of hundreds of thousands of dollars from national and international funds and industrial companies. Among the items of expenditure is the purchase of modern equipment.
