The Sumy State University is one of the most distinct educational institutions. My own experience lies with the medical departments. Being a graduate, I can now look back onto the BEST 13 years of my life! It has been an exciting rollercoaster ride for me. This place has taught me so much in terms of the courses and to being an independent individual.

Sumy State University is a great place for students to start their university life. I’d recommend it to anyone from back home (Bahrain), because it feels just like a home away from home!

Just before I entered university I was scared of feeling like a little fish in a river suddenly being let go into an ocean!! But Sumy State University proved me wrong. The university has great programs which makes sure you are settled before your course begins.

Doing my Studies at Sumy State University has given me a great opportunity to travel across Sumy and Europe in the past 13 years. I’ve had the chance to visit Kozhedub Park, Nikanor Onatsky Regional Art Museum, Usadba Sukhanovyh and many other places.

Studying in Sumy offers so much to prepare individuals to face the real world at the end of their course. PhD in Surgery is definitely a challenging course but at Sumy State University, they make it interesting and enjoyable.

As advice to international students at Sumy State University, I’d say utilize the resources and tools provided there and use your valuable experience in Sumy to the fullest extent for a bright future because you are amongst the few lucky ones that can make a difference.

I believe that what I value most at Sumy State University is the opportunity for learning about new cultures and making true friends from all around the globe, lifelong friends. I enjoy and I’m proud to be a part of the Sumy State University family.
